Biography

Shanghai Qi Zhi Institute PI, Assistant Professor at IIIS, Tsinghua.

Yi Li obtained Ph.D. degree from Stanford University under the supervision of Professor Leonidas J. Guibas, and subsequently served as a Research Scientist at Google Research, closely collaborating with Professor Thomas Funkhouser. Prior to that, earned a Bachelor's degree from the Department of Electronic Engineering at Tsinghua University. Research interests encompass 3D perception, computer graphics, and embodied artificial intelligence, aiming to endow robotic agents with the capability to understand and interact with the 3D world. Published over twenty papers in top-tier conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, SIGGRAPH, and SIGGRAPH Asia, and served as the Area Chair for CVPR 2022. Widely recognized in the field with over 7500 citations, notable works include ShapeNet, Spectral CNN, PointNet++, among others.
