Yihan Gao obtained her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2019. Her research areas include database systems and data mining, with a primary focus on the deep integration of database systems and artificial intelligence methods. This includes using artificial intelligence methods to enhance the performance of database systems, as well as leveraging database systems to build foundational platforms for artificial intelligence applications.
