Former Shanghai Qi Zhi Institute PI.
Yuanbo Zhang obtained his Bachelor's degree from the Department of Technical Physics at Peking University in 2000, and his Ph.D. in Physics from Columbia University in the United States in 2006. From 2006 to 2009, he worked as a Miller Research Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, conducting postdoctoral research. In 2010, he served as a postdoctoral researcher at the IBM Almaden Research Center. In 2011, he returned to China and joined Fudan University. Professor Zhang Yuanbo has long been engaged in the preparation and quantum property research of new types of two-dimensional materials and devices. He has carried out systematic research in several directions, including new types of two-dimensional semiconductor materials, two-dimensional magnetic materials, high-temperature superconducting materials, and two-dimensional topological materials, and has achieved a series of internationally influential research results.
