On January 13th, 2022, the exchange of 2022 artificial intelligence frontier research results jointly organized by Shanghai Qi Zhi Institute and Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences, Tsinghua University was successfully held in our Institute. Sixteen students from Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences, Tsinghua University participated in this activity together with several members of the research group of Shanghai Qi Zhi Institute.
During the meeting, PI of Shanghai Qi Zhi Institute and Wu Yi, a special researcher and assistant professor of Tsinghua University, introduced the general situation of Shanghai Qi Zhi Institute and the general progress of generalized reinforcement learning research carried out by its research group to the participants. Yu Yu, a PI in the Institute and professor Shanghai Jiaotong University, introduced various authentication methods based on symmetric cryptography, public key cryptography and biometrics, as well as their corresponding advantages and disadvantages, as well as various security threats and countermeasures. Yu Yang, a special researcher and assistant professor of the Institute PI and Tsinghua University, discussed the important role of algorithms in social governance in the information age around "Artificial Intelligence and Social Governance". The content of the report is simple, which deepens the students' multi-dimensional understanding of artificial intelligence and interdisciplinary science.

In addition to professional academic reports, this activity arranged for students to visit the West Coast Art Museum, which gave them a chance to deeply feel how modern science and technology gave birth to new artistic forms and aesthetic concepts. At the same time, in terms of thinking mode and value pursuit, it also inspires everyone to think about the important influence of art on scientific development.
In order to stimulate students' interest in scientific research and help them more intuitively understand the latest achievements made by the Institute in the fields of artificial intelligence and interdisciplinary science, the Institute led the students to visit the Universal Robot System Laboratory, the Self-evolving Intelligent System Laboratory and the Multi-modal and Multi-sensor Machine Learning Laboratory. Later, during the round-table discussion, the teachers generously shared their growth process and scientific research path with you. Participants actively participated in the discussion and actively interacted with the teachers.
